Personality: loud, shy, is not very open about herself, only to a selected few people. 

Other: She loves Video games and usually hiding behind her bangs. Originally born in Korea, she moved to Japan to live with her grandmother since her parent’s death. She finished high school when she was 16 and has a uni degree in IT. She currently works at an Arcade and is known as Killer Kitty there and has a lot of records on a variety of games.

Looks: long black hair, golden green eyes, moderate height and a bit chubby. Likes to wear Oshare Kei style clothing.

I pick up the last box and proceed to fill the prize cabinet, this time it was stuff animals of all sorts and colours. Kaze and Jin sat quietly watching me.

 

“What?” I say as I turn and place a hand on my hip.

 

“When will you stop making impossible scores to beat?” Kaze asks as I shrug and break the box down into a smaller size and placing it with the other empty boxes under the machine.

 

“Hows nana?” Jin asks as I smile and lock the machine and turn it back on.

 

“She’s good, she plans to make a cake for Ruki” I say as the other two shudder, Ruki, you know the one from the GazettE, well we are unfortunaly related, he is my cousin and well he is close to my nana, well our nana.

 

“Ruki is one weird man” Jin says as he walks over to me and places his hands on my shoulder. “I feel sorry that you are related to such a man” He says as I hit him across the head.

 

“Ruki is cool man, I get his band’s album for free man, I also got to be in some of the video clips” I say as I walk over to the token stand and serve people as Jin and Kaze follow, too lazy to actually work.

 

“Well, we will drop her highness off and say hello to Aizumi” Kaze says as I sigh and ignore them.

[At Home]

 

“Ki-Kun your lazy” Reita mutters as he looms over me.

 

“Rei-Kun you’re a lesbian” I reply as he gives me a funny look only to get dragged off the lounge by Ruki, the birthday boy.

 

“You’re on my seat” he mutters as he drops a CD on me. “Also, another CD for your highness” he adds as he uses my stomach as a foot rest, I smile and place the CD to the side.

 

“You’re the best cousin man” I say as he simply grunts.

 

“I can see up your skirt” Uruha comments as I kick out and hit him in the shin, he let out a yelp as he fell to the floor. Reita ended up lying next to me with Kai as Nana, turn on the TV and served us tea.

 

“Stop looking Uruha” Aoi says as he tugs my skirt down and smiles at me.

 

Let’s stop for a minute and revise.

I am Kiku Nakamura, I am your average 22 year old who never had a boyfriend due to the fact that I keep to myself and never say much and I am a hard-core gamer. I am friends with my cousin band, the GazettE and I been to their concerts more than any other band, I also look after and maintain their site sometimes, that’s how awesome I am. I am a fully fledge IT person, but a lazy one with no proper title. Well back to the GazettE. Aoi is like my twin, we both are on similar wave lengths when it comes to having fun, Uruha is a perv as usual and is always trying to figure ways to date me and fail, Reita is my teddy bear, I go to him when I need someone to hug and talk to and Kai is my teacher and best friend, he taught me how to cook when Nana isn’t feeling well and I also tell him everything. Then we all know Ruki is my cousin and one of the best friends a girl could ask for.

Anyway back to reality.

 

“Ki-Kun, I want your babies” Uruha mutters as he lies on my legs. OK I have no idea how we are still friends, I always question how we manage to keep our relationship stable without the desire to murder him. Guess some things are just not worth examining.

 

“No, I am going to have her babies” Reita retaliates while I snuggle closer to Kai, hoping to get away from all the madmen who seem to want my babies. Kai sighs and pats my head gently.

 

“How in the world can you two carry Ki-Kun’s babies?” Aoi asks as he lounges next to Ruki, munching on his second piece of cake. They both look at each other than at me, I looked at them and my jaw drops.

 

“No way in hell I am carrying your babies” I say as Ruki nods in agreement.

 

“Yea, they probably look like game characters or mutants” Ruki simply adds as I struggle to my feet and sit on him. I smile evilly as Reita and Uruha laugh at Ruki, while Kai sighs and sits closer to Nana. Aoi grins happily.

 

“Wow, this seat is so comfy” I say as Ruki tries and push me off but to no avail.

 

“Sorry, Sorry, I lied, they’d never exist because you never want to fuck them” Ruki says as I narrow my eyes at him and get off of him and sit on the floor.

 

“Now, Now Ruki, you know I don’t tolerate that language” Nana says sternly as me and Aoi sat on Ruki at the same time and start Cooing and tsking him while he growls in annoyance at us. We just laugh.

[Next Day ~ At Work]

 

I slowly walk around the nearly empty arcade. I held some tokens I happily bought and decided to raid some games. I look at the DDR Machine and notice that someone has beaten my record. I smile and decided to practice my skills at dancing. So I slip two tokens in and put the rest in my zip up pocket, I slip out of my boots and hope my feet won’t hurt too much due to the metal machines and proceed to play.

 

“Great, Highness is now going to try and beat the new record” Kaze says as he rolls his eyes as Jin cackles and watches. A crowd of familiar and unfamiliar faces surround the machine. I start to feel sub-conscious about my look but shock that off as soon as I selected a song and start to play. After about twenty minutes, I slump down on the floor and guzzle down the drink Jin offers me.

 

“Can’t beat it huh?” Jin asks as I nod and continue to lie on the floor. Then someone stood next to us, I turn my head and see an awesome pair of red and black checker designed platform shoes.

 

“Awesome shoes” I mutter as the person leans down and looks at me.

 

“You’re really good at games” he says as I smile and sit up.

 

“I guess” I simply say as I peer at him and my mind starts taking notes. Pretty dark eyes, multi-toned hair of blond and black, manicured nails, light traces of make-up and very gorgeous. Especially when he smiles, I start to blush a little as my heart gives a little loud thump. I let my bangs drop back into place as I pull the clips out and store them in my zip up pocket with the tokens.

 

“I hope that we can be friends, Killer Kitty” he says as he suddenly lifts me to my feet and look down at me shyly.

 

“Y…Y…Yeah, we should, m…m…maybe we can play a game s…sometime?” I ask as I mentally hit myself due to the stuttering as Kaze and Jin laugh to themselves, as if I couldn’t hear them. I felt myself flush in both anger and embarrassment.

 

“I a…agree, we should” he says as he looks down at his feet. I couldn’t believe he stuttered too. “So, umm, what day you’re not working? We can hang out for the day and play games” He quickly adds.

 

“Ummm I have the Saturday off, we can meet up here.” I softly say as he sighs in relief.

 

“So it’s a date?” he asks as I nod. “Also, my name is Shinya” he adds as I look up at him to see that he had a small blush.

 

“I’m Kiku” I say as he smiles and lifts my hand to his lips.

 

“I’ll see you on Saturday at 10, Kiku” Shinya says as he walks off and out the arcade. I felt myself blush. Kaze and Jin jaws look like it hit the floor.

 

“What?” I demand as I stomp up to them.

 

“Kiku plus date equals never thought it was possible.” Jin says as Kaze nods.

 

“Also that dude reminds me of Kanon from Antikku” Jin adds as they both look at me.

 

“And?” I question as they both look at each other again and then at me.

 

“Someone famous managed to get our Highness to go on a date…” Kaze starts

 

“…and manage to make her blush, this must be recorded as a new record around here” Jin concludes with a grin as I hit them across the head for their stupidity and went back to work with a grin on my face.

[Three Days Later]

 

I woke up with a jump as my alarm blare some Short Stack at me. I look at the time and sigh; it was only 9:30. I lay back down, only to jump and grab the alarm and scream at the top of my lungs as I flung myself out of bed, tear off (figuratively) my PJs and proceed to throw on a pleated white and red skirt with white shorts underneath the skirt, a white shirt with a picture of the grey cat from Azumanga Daioh, rainbow over the knee socks and bright red converse shoes. I angrily tug my hair into pig tails as Reita walks in and sits on my bed.

 

“Your highness, what are you doing today?” he simply asks as I slip on a matching pair of arm warmers, well it matched my socks anyway.

 

“I got a date” I reply as he nods.

 

“So nothi…wait YOU ON A DATE!!!” Reita yells out as he jumps off the bed and places his hands on my shoulder. “That’s not true”

 

“It’s true” I say as Aoi runs in with Ruki close behind.

 

“What’s wrong?” Aoi asks as he frees me from Reita’s grip.

 

“She has a date today” Reita simply says as Ruki and Aoi gasps.

 

“No way” they say as I look at the time and scream again.

 

“I’M LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE” I yell as I grab my Cat bag and wallet and bolt out the door, with a quick goodbye to Nana. The time claimed I was ten minutes late.

I ran into the arcade and slump on the floor, the same place as yesterday. Someone knelt down next to me. I look over and see another pair of awesome shoes, similar to my own except in black.

 

“It’s alright if you were a little late, I would have waited if I had known you be here like this again” the voice says with a small laugh, I look up to see a familiar pair of dark eyes, which is now twinkling with laughter. I blush as I sat up and allow him to help me to my feet. I quickly glance at him to see he wore a black plain shirt with attached arm warmers and pair of black jeans with a few silver belts. It looks so good on him.

 

“Sorry” I say as he chuckles at me.

 

“No problems, I was here just a few minutes before you anyway. I was worried I’d be late” he says as he places an arm around my shoulders. “So what first?” he asks as I laugh and point at a shooter game. We both grin and ran to the game, like a pair of two year olds.

[Meanwhile…]

 

“She’s on a date with Kanon!!” Uruha says as he looks from the racing car machine that he is sitting in. He, like the rest of the GazettE, were in a terrible disguise and watching Kiku, making sure that nothing goes wrong and hope she doesn’t see them. Aoi was racing against Reita, while Ruki and Kai was on the other side of the arcade at the drum set, which Kai decided to play. Each had Binoculars and a walkie talkie. Yea, they were that bad.

 

“Well duh, we can see that…Kai stop playing that annoying game” Ruki growls at the leader who turns and hits him lightly on the head with a drumstick and continues to play.

 

“At least she is dating” Aoi piques up as Uruha turns and hits him on the head.

 

“True but she should be with me” Uruha says with a pout. “I would woo her with a lovely dinner, then a stroll in a park and a song from me, played with my guitar” Uruha drifts off into fantasy as Reita rolls his eyes.

 

“Nah, I say, she is better off with Kanon, they are both similar to each other. Yes Aoi, I wish I ask to date her sooner but she is far happier with him, I rather be her brother than her lover” Reita simply states as Ruki yells at them saying that the birds have left the game and leaving the store.

[Back with the couple / Team Couple]

 

“That was fun” I say as we both walk to a near by noodle house and order a meal and some drinks.

 

“Yea, I am so glad I finally said something to you” he says without thinking and quickly covers his mouth.

 

“Oh, so you knew of me for a while?” I ask as he nods.

 

“For a while know, I usually watch you play but before you see me, I walk off” He says as he reaches over but someone bumps into him.

 

“Sorry mate” says a gruff voice that sounds awfully familiar.

 

“Oh, it’s alright” Shinya says with a smile as the group of people walk off. I give them a funny look but shrug off whatever feeling I had about them and smile at Shinya. “Anyway, I am glad we are talking now” he adds as I nod, I reach over and hold his hand, we both blush at the simple hold.

 

“I am glad too” I say as our meals arrive and we continue to sit and eat. We start to talk about what we do and such and I was not surprise or fan-girly when he shyly admits that he is, indeed, Kanon from An Café. I just smile and told him, that he is awesome the way he is. He smiles and just as he was about to hug me someone walks by and drops a drink on him. We jump up as I quickly grab some serviettes and try and dry Kanon (A.N: I am switching to band name now).

 

“Geez, people these days, no manners” I say with a laugh as Kanon laughs to and joins in trying to dry himself.

 

“Hahaha it’s alright about this, it will dry but I might as well grab some new clothes” he says as we pay for the bill and left to the closest boutique.

[Team GazettE]

 

They follow the couple into the noodle shop and Ruki spots them and notices that his hand was edging towards his cousin. He stiffly walks past and knocks into him.

 

“Sorry mate” Ruki gruffly says without looking at them and continue to walk to a booth at the back where they could see the couple.

 

“Oh, it’s alright” Kanon says with a smile as they walk away. Uruha glances over his shoulder to see Kiku giving them a look like she knew them but it quickly changes as she returns her attention to Kanon and smiling.

 

“I wish she gave me those smiles” Uruha says as he sits down and pouts.

 

“Stop looking up her skirts and dresses and maybe she will consider it” Reita says as the group orders some food and watch the couple. Aoi smiles as he nudges Kai to show that Kiku has the guts to hold Kanon’s hand. Ruki, Uruha and Reita look over and, well mainly Uruha growls, Reita smiles and Ruki just scowls at the pair, and then their meal arrives just at the same time as the bands. They eat in silence until they saw that Kanon was about to hug Kiku, Uruha gets up and grabs a drink and pours it on Kanon as he walks out the noodle house. Kiku squeals and helps try and clean Kanon, who laughs it off and they both pay the bill as he grabs her hand and walks out.

 

“Smooth, real smooth Uruha” Reita mutters as Aoi and Kai agrees.

 

“I agree with Uruha, Kanon is just not worthy” Ruki says stiffly as the rest of the group looks at him in horror. Ruki shrugs and gets up and goes to join Uruha in his efforts to break the pair apart.

 

“Well, let’s stop them from tearing them apart” Kai says as the trio agree.

 

“We all know you like her Reita, are you sure you don’t want to help Ruki and Uruha?” Aoi asks as Reita shakes his head.

 

“I will admit, I love her but I value her happiness above all and I know for a fact, Kanon is a great guy and I support them” Reita says as he stands up and smiles. “Let’s go protect their love.” Reita adds with a smile as the trio run out the restaurant and look for them.

[Team Couple]

 

After Kanon got changed and paid for the new clothing, we decided to go for a walk around the nearby park.

 

“So what do you think of today so far?” Kanon asks as I smile.

 

“Great, except for those minor mishaps” I say as we spot a few empty seats and just as I was about to sit in one, someone pushes me out the way and gets his friends to sit with him.

 

“How rude” Kanon mutters as he gently leads me away as we continue to walk around and sit down by a small pond.

 

“I swear some people are so rude today” I mutter as we both sat close to each other as he snakes his arm around me and pulls me closer to him.

 

“Don’t think about them, I’m just glad we are still with each other, looking at a pretty pond” he says with a laugh, I smile and snuggle closer to him as we both blush. Little did we know, someone walks past and chucks gum in my hair, well until Kanon went to touch my hair and found it. “Kiku, there seems to be gum in your hair” he says with concern in his voice as I reach behind and discover it’s true.

 

“Oh no, what am I to do” I say as I felt myself tear up at the thought of someone’s awful half chewed gun in my hair, mind you I let my hair down after we left the noodle house, so yea.

 

“Is there something the matter?” some gruff guy asks as Kanon looks at him.

 

“Do you have a knife or scissors?” Kanon asks as the guy produces a small switchblade.

 

“What do you need it for?” he asks as Kanon explains what has happened. The guy smiles and helpfully cuts off a large portion of hair since the gum got so badly tangled in it. I sob the whole time as Kanon held me close. When the guy finished he told us to go to a hairdresser and get it fixed and went on his merry way. Me and Kanon got up and decided to go to Kanon’s favourite hairdressers.

Reita was grumbling at the fact that his pants now had ink stain all over it. Aoi came back with a frown on his face as Kai looks up at him.

 

“What happened now?”

 

“First, Ruki puts ink on a chair to stain Kiku’s white skirt and mind you it’s her favourite skirt. Then Uruha throws gum in her hair and mind you it got so bad that I had to cut it off. Expect her to have a pixie hairstyle tonight, that’s how bad it was” Aoi snaps as he sits on the ground.

 

“That’s mean” Kai simply says as Reita growls.

 

“She loves her hair, Uruha should have known that. Man, when she finds out, Uruha is more than dead” Reita snaps as they all got up and found Kiku and Kanon walk out of the hairdressers. Kiku now had a pixie hairstyle with her bangs a bit shorter, but it suited her greatly.

 

“She looks beautiful” Aoi says as the other two agree.

 

“Wonder what they are going to do since it is getting late” Reita inquires as they continue to follow the pair with Uruha and Ruki not far behind.

[Team Couple]

 

“I never thought short hair would actually suit me and I owe you Kanon” I say as I blush. Kanon simply laughs and places an arm around me.

 

“No need to owe me, just let me have the honour of your company” he says with a blush vividly on his cheeks.

 

“Ok, so another date is in order, I believe?” I ask as he nods as we walk to my place which wasn’t far from the area.

 

“So will you give me the honour of being my girlfriend?” he asks as I blush but nod anyway, then just as we were about to kiss, Nana opens the door.

 

“Well so this is the young man you went to see, come in we have dinner ready. Also Kiki, have you seen that cousin of yours?” Nana asks as she ushers us inside.

 

“No, I haven’t and sorry about this Kanon” I say as he simply smiles and bows.

 

“I’m Shinya, you may call me Kanon, and it is an honour to meet the person who raised Kiku” Kanon says as my Nana laughs and ushers us to the table.

 

“I’m Aizumi but call me Nana, since I have a feeling I see you quite often and Kiku what happened to you lovely hair? It’s very pretty what you done to it though” Nana says as she serves us dinner.

 

“Someone put gum in my hair” I say as we say grace and start to eat. Kanon takes a bit and smiles.

 

“This is great” he says as me and Nana smiles at each other.

 

“Thank you deary and eat up, we also have desert after this” Nana adds as I smile and continue to eat.

 

“Hey Kiku, whose your cousin?” Kanon asks as I swallow what’s in my mouth.

 

“Ruki from the GazettE” I simply say as Kanon looks at me in surprise.

 

“Wow that’s cool” he says as we continue to talk until we finish eating and hear some voices outside as me and Kanon gets up to check it out while Nana deals with the food and plates. We open the door to see Reita, Kai and Aoi having an argument with Ruki and Uruha.

 

“Okay, what’s going on?” I ask as Reita turns and smiles at me sadly. 

“Well let’s just say that we are sorry, but the story is like this…” Reita starts and tells us what they did, I felt myself grow more pissed off and especially what Uruha did to my hair.

 

“Uruha, come here” I say as Ruki backs away and pushes Uruha at me and just as I was about to strangle Uruha, Kanon quickly grabs my arms and hug him close to himself and hides his head into the crook of my neck as I spazz out and try and kick Uruha. Nana comes out and laughs and walks to Uruha.

 

“Thank you for being so caring but what you did was wrong, apologise to Kiku and pay for the damage you done” Nana say at first to Uruha and then at the rest of the band. “Aoi, Kai and Reita, I am glad you chose to be allies and hope that you make sure nothing happened to her today and Ruki, you should be happy for your cousin, not ill against her” Nana says as Ruki looks up and nods but looks at me, who is now calm as a Kitten but still being held by Kanon.

“I did this so that she leaves Kanon and be with Reita” Ruki simply states why he was against it in one sentence.

 

“Reita, you like Kiku?” Kanon asks as he looks down.

 

“I do” Reita replies

 

“Do you love her?” Kanon asks as he let his hands fall to my side but held on.

 

“I do” Reita says as he looks down. Kanon lets go of me as I look at him.

 

“Kanon?” I question as he looks beyond miserable.

 

“I’m sorry, I’ll leave and not interfere again” He says as he runs off. I stood there looking where Kanon had stood; feeling cold and depressed, then the tears came down.

 

“Kiki, I’m sorry” Ruki says as he touches my shoulder, I angrily shook it off.

 

“I hate you all, I finally found someone who makes me feels happy and you all destroy it, first you stalk me, then you poured a drink on Kanon, tried to permantly stain my favourite skirt, get gum in my hair and then tell me that Reita should be with me. Reita, I love you but you’re like my brother to me, one that I could always trust, Aoi and Kai, you guys are my best friends and my brothers, I am grateful to you three, I don’t hate you so much.” I say as I give them a smile but the tears made it look surreal. Then I look at Uruha and Ruki hatefully. “I don’t want to say anything or see you two again” I say as I turn and walk to my room, slam the door, lock it and drag myself and lay on my bed and fell asleep to tears staining my pillow.

[2 weeks later]

 

I check my weight again, it’s true I lost more weight; I am at least 10 kilos lighter. I look around the dimly lit bathroom and got dress and walk into my room and sat on the bed and pull out a book and continue to read it, ignoring the food on my desk.

 

I stop talking to Ruki and Uruha, I rarely saw the others, and I request to stay out of the main area of the arcade and work at the back. I am back to my dull life and I haven’t seen hair or hide of Kanon, that’s the other reason why I work in the back. I got up from my bed and walk to work, after quickly changing.

 

“Kiku, you should eat” Jin says after a while as I simply look at him. Concern is written all over him, same for Kaze.

 

“No” I say as I push a box onto the shelf and grab another one and hand it to Kaze. “Machine 8” I say as I dismiss the pair. I pull out a box and sit on it. My head continue to spin as I sigh and lean forward, but that made the dizziness worse, I hear someone walk in and say something, I turn slowly and see two people but that’s before I fell.

Before long I woke up with a familiar face looking down at me, as I notice him holding my hand. A few other people were behind him, muttering to each other.

 

“Kiku, I’m sorry” Kanon says as he drops his head onto my shoulder. “You must eat something” he says as I shake my head.

 

“No” I simply say as I try and sit up but my head had another idea and throbs angrily.

 

“Please, I do anything to get you to eat” he says as his eyes fill up with tears. “I will not abandon you again” he simply says.

 

“There is noth…” I start to say until his lips fell on mine, my eyes widen as my heart seems to have cease beating. I fell in love again. He lifts his head up.

 

“I’ve been dying to do that”

 

“Let’s get noodles” I say as Kanon smiles and help me to my feet, his friend’s cheers as we all leave, while me and Kanon held hands and smile at each other. I swear, when I get home, I’ll make a cake and hope that the members of GazettE forgive me. I laugh as I hug Kanon while Miku laughs, Teruki sighs, while Takuya and Yuuki plan to have a party.
