Part 4 ~ A Dirge filled Day
I woke up feeling a little happier with my life as Orphen lies silently on my feet. I give a sigh as I continue to lay there for another five minutes until I push the dog to the floor, shower and change for work.

[Two hours into working]
I am miserable, whatever joy I had is now pretty much dead. Mina had chewed me up and spit me out for leaving work, even though my shift was finished for more than an hour.
That’s not all, I got insulted by half of the staff or got pushed around, yet I still work here. Must be the money I get.
I scrub the floor of the bathrooms along with one of the new workers. She was like me in weight but she looked so much prettier, with Brown hair and light blonde streaks, Hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin.
“My name is Ryuu or you can call me Dragon, it’s up to you” she says bluntly as she moves closer to me. “So what’s your name?” 
“Inuki or you can join the people in the ranks of insulting me by calling me ugly dog” I simply say as Ryuu gives a hiss.
“I’ll call you Inu-chan and I plan to be friends, not enemies with you” she says coolly as a smile creeps along my features, guess today may be better. We continue to clean the bathrooms as we just simply talk about ourselves.
Ryuu was born in Europe and her Mother was Japanese and her Father was English. She lived in Europe till she grew bored of the place and move to Japan to stay with her grandmother. She enjoys video games, Anime, Manga, Music and anything that amuses her; she also likes to spend hours watching all sorts of movies.
“Well that’s was fun and my shift is finish” Ryuu says as she leaves the store quickly as Mina walks over to me.
“Trying to make someone else as disgusting as you” Mina says as she pushes me into the shelves. I didn’t make any response or movement as the woman struts away. I simply grab my belongings and signed out of my shift.

[At Home]
I silently was stirring the noodles as I wasnt paying attention as I sat my hand on something very warm, oddly it hurt a lot. I look down to see my hand sitting on the hot stove. I give a scream as I turn on the tap and put my hand under the freezing cold water. Tears silently stream down my face as the water in the sink, held strips of red.
I needed help and fast. I quickly turned off the stove and reach for the phone, but I knocked it to the floor, a quick jolt of pain ran up my arm as I accidently hit my left hand onto the side of the sink. I give a loud squeak as someone knocks frantically on my door. I left my hand under the water.
“Come in” I call out as Shinya and Saitou runs in and sees the mess.
“What happen?” Saitou cries out as he dries my face with his sleeve.
“I need a doctor, I burnt my hand and I feel really faint” Saitou went for the phone as I felt my body grew more tired, I slump forward, someone grabs and keeps my hand under the water as I leaned up against them, out cold.

[Bou’s view]
“Inu-chan, I had to call an ambulance” Bou says as he sees Kanon holding her up. “Is she alright?” Bou says as he felt tears build up as he looks at her, he reaches over and looks at her injured hand and saw it was really bad.
“She’s out cold, its possible the pain was overbearing even though the water may have numbed it” Kanon mutters as he gently shifts her closer to himself as he kept her hand under water. A knock is heard as Bou ran and open the door for the paramedics. 
“Where is she?” they ask as Bou lead them to the kitchen. The female one walks over and relieves Kanon, which didn’t make him happy, and gently lays her down.
“Sweetheart, wake up please” she softly says as she gently taps Inuki on the cheeks, trying to wake her up, which actually works, the male proceeds to fix up her left hand. “Now, tell me your name”
“Inuki” she weakly says which made the boys hearts felt like breaking. 
“Do you remember what happened to you?” she says as Inuki raises her right hand to her head.
“I was thinking about today and I wasn’t looking where I put my hand…and I put it on the stove accidently and I didn’t realise straight away, but I put it under waterthen someone knocked on the door, I ask them to come in and thats about all” She mutters weakly as she tries to move but they hissed at her.
“Don’t move around” the woman says as Bou left the apartment, Kanon closely follows.
“Bou are you ok?” Kanon asks as the blonde starts to cry on him.
“Inu-chan got hurt and we didn’t get there in time” Bou sobs as Teruki walks out.
“What did you do now?” Teruki asks as Bou sniffles some more.
“Inu-chan got hurt and Bou blames himself” Kanon simply says as the male paramedic walks out.
“Blondie, you the girlfriend?” he asks Bou, who shakes his head. Teruki looks shocked at the man.
“I’m a boy” Bou says as the man quickly apologises for the mistake.
“Sorry, anyway, she had a second degree burn, she is not allowed to use her left hand at all, so you need to keep an eye on her and practically do everything, so she doesn’t use it and make the healing process slower and also no work whatsoever she needs to recover” the medic says as the female joins him.
“You can see her, she’s awake and alert now, just keep her resting or else it will get worse” The woman says as she hands Kanon some pills and left.
“Twice a day remember that” the man says as they leave. They walk into the apartment.

[Back to Inuki]
~Second Degree burns, pain killers and anti-biotic and the occasional Local anesthetic~ I thought sadly as Saitou, Shinya and Teruki walks in. Saitou looks like he had been crying. Orphen disappears into my room as Saitou hugs me.
“Saitou, why were you crying?” I ask as the blonde man sniffs.
“You got hurt” he says as Shinya sat on my right as he sat the pills on the coffee table. Teruki sat on the table.
“Don’t cry Sai-kun” I softly say as I ruffle his hair, then it dawned on me “I can’t play video games” I cry out as Saitou sits on my lap and snuggles closer.
“Ka…Shinya can play for you” Saitou says as Shinya gives a nod. I look at Shinya with sparkly eyes.
“Really?” I ask as Shinya gives a small blush.
“If you want me to” he says as I nod happily, he blushed even more as Teruki gives a sigh.
“Well someone has to stay here to make sure you don’t use your hand” Teruki states as my jaw drops.
“Lets get Mi…Akiharu and have a looong sleepover until Inu-chans hand heals” Saitou suddenly says as Teruki gives a sigh.
“I will get Akiharu, since I have very little space in my apartment, you three can stay here unless Inu-chan disagrees” Teruki says as I wave my injured hand at him.
“I don’t mind, but I will only be a burden” I say as Shinya looks at me.
“You won’t we will be more of a burden, but we will make sure that you get better” Shinya says as I give him a smile.
“Ok then, I don’t mind” I say as Teruki walks outside to ring Akiharu as Saitou curls up on my lap. Shinya continues to sit next to me.
“Thank you” I softly say as Shinya gives me a funny look.
“For what?” he asks as I simply reach over and hug him.
“For making sure I didn’t fall over or my hand to leave the water. They said it would be worse if you weren’t there” I say as I let go of him. I personally didnt want to let go.
“So what game do you want me to play?” he asks with a smile as I ask him to play ‘Dirge of Cerberus’. The day seriously looked bad but it wasn’t so bad.
